SPHP CAPE Society Mission Statement

The CAPE Society of St. Peter’s Health Partners is dedicated to honoring and uplifting exceptional physicians who exemplify unwavering commitment to patient care. We aim to recognize those who consistently go above and beyond, demonstrating compassion, expertise, innovation, and transformative healing.

The SPHP CAPE Society will focus on:

Recognition of exceptional physicians for their commitment to our mission, outstanding care, research, and innovation.
Highlighting the positive impact of our physicians and the exceptional care they are providing through a robust media campaign.
Celebrating the accomplishments and recognizing our physicians.
Providing a platform to inspire physician well-being, address physician concerns and priorities, reduce burnout, and promote a culture of support and positivity.

Selection Process, Recognition and Consideration for a CAPE Award

The selection and recognition process will begin in October 2024 and culminate in an annual gala or awards ceremony (the inaugural event will be in spring 2025) to celebrate the honorees added to the society throughout the year. All recipients will be captured in a media campaign to highlight their achievements and excellence to the people served at St. Peter’s Health Partners.

Nominees will exhibit:

Exceptional clinical skills.
Extraordinary compassion and empathy toward patients.
Leadership within SPHP
Advancement of The Mercy Mission
Contributions to medical research or innovations.
Community service and advocacy.

Anyone can submit a nomination – colleagues, grateful patients, and community members can nominate physicians with outstanding dedication, compassion, and excellence. CAPE Leadership will review nominations quarterly. Awards will be presented monthly with an annual awards celebration for all recipients.

Make a Donation to Recognize Physician Excellence

Each day, our physicians go above and beyond to provide the highest quality of skilled and compassionate care. Join us, as we recognize their dedication and commitment to advancing our healing ministry by making a charitable contribution in honor of a cherished doctor. When a contribution is made in recognition of a physician, the respective doctor will receive a personalized letter informing them of the impact they have had and a thoughtful gift you have made.
